The Director General of Public Affairs DCOP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, on a press briefing, which took place on Thursday, February 26, reiterated how the police acted swiftly to apprehend the fraudsters behind the fake message. "Our intelligence and cyber teams were tasked to immediately commence an investigation into the matter to get those behind those fake messages arrested," she said. She went on to brief the press about a notice that was sent to the citizens to raise their alertness about the fake notice.
