7 Suspects behind the fake electronic traffic violation notice busted

Photo source: Joy Online Derrick Djang Writes, The Ghana Police in a recent operation has arrested 7 suspects purported to have circulated fake electronic traffic violation notice to members of the public. The Director General of Public Affairs DCOP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, on a press briefing, which took place on Thursday, February 26, reiterated how the police acted swiftly to apprehend the fraudsters behind the fake message. "Our intelligence and cyber teams were tasked to immediately commence an investigation into the matter to get those behind those fake messages arrested," she said. She went on to brief the press about a notice that was sent to the citizens to raise their alertness about the fake notice.  "A public notice was published to notify the general public that the notifications were false, fraudulent, invalid, and not coming from the Ghana Police service and that effort were ongoing to get the perpetrators arrested and brought to justice,...

STUDENT ARRESTED FOR RAPPING A COLLEAGUE - ADEISO PRESBY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

  ADEISO PRESEC Derrick Djang Writes, A male form two student of Adeiso Pesec has been arrested for allegedly raping a colleague female student. The horrific incident happened during ‘prep' studies in the evening, the time allotted for students for person al studies on campus. The victim was reportedly standing when the suspect approached her and began touching her provocatively. The victim vehemently asked him to stop but all her pleas was futile as the suspect furiously pushed her down, overpowered her and sexually assaulted. Following the incident, the victim reported the assault to the school authorities. The school authorities consequently file a police report leading to the arrest of the suspect. As part of the investigation, a medical examination at the hospital confirm that indeed the victim was sexually abused. The victim family is firmly demanding justice through the legal system. The suspect is currently in police custody as the police continues with investigation.

Dr. Bawumia calls for End of Political Intimidation
